Successful Start of the DGZfP Annual Conference 2024 in Osnabrück
This year‘s annual conference of the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP) was held with great success from May 6 to 8, 2024, in Osnabrück. As a significant event in the field of non-destructive testing, the conference brought together experts, professionals, and interested parties from the industry to present and discuss the latest developments, innovations, and research results.
Our booth served as a central hub for innovation and expertise. Our expert team, including Thomas Rogge and Martin Fuchs from SONOTEC GmbH, was on-site to answer questions and engage with visitors about their needs and challenges. Additionally, Thomas Rogge presented the latest advancements in ultrasonic testing with the SONO-PR 200, a state-of-the-art pulser-receiver.
Another highlight of the conference was the poster exhibition. Our three posters provided valuable insights into current research projects. Notably, Martin Fuchs‘ presentation on the reliability of ultrasonic probes sparked significant interest and stimulating discussions. The posters and presentations offered an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and deepening of professional expertise.
The final day of the conference featured another exciting presentation by Andreas Bodi, Field Application Manager at SONOTEC. He discussed the application of air ultrasound in conjunction with phased-array probes, which also garnered considerable interest.
The DGZfP Annual Conference 2024 was an indispensable opportunity for networking with colleagues, making new connections, and learning about the latest developments in non-destructive testing. We thank all visitors and participants for an inspiring and successful event and look forward to the next conference.
